AhlulBayt News Agency: Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators have taken to the streets of Stockholm to protest what they described as Israel’s violation of the Gaza ceasefire and the continued restrictions on the entry of humanitarian assistance into the besieged enclave.
According to IRNA, the rally was organized at the call of several civil society groups, with participants carrying placards demanding an immediate end to the occupation of Palestinian territories, the lifting of the blockade, and the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid. Other signs urged Israel to honor the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
During the demonstration, protesters also called on the Swedish government to impose a comprehensive military embargo on Israel, arguing that stronger political action is needed to halt the ongoing violence.
According to official figures cited by organizers, more than 71,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, while over 171,000 others have been injured.
